What does it cost inshore fishing

What does it cost Inshore Fishing? Simple answer Cape Fear River Backwater Charters out of Carolina Beach, N.C is $500.00 for a five-hour charter. All bait and tackle are included in these inshore backwater fishing charters. I definitely prefer cash payment, Visa, Discover, Mastercard are accepted. Fishing charters are for 1-4 anglers.
6 hour – $600.00
7 hour – $700.00
8 hour – $800.00

What you need to bring is proper clothing for the weather conditions for that day, be sure to step outside that morning to check the temperature. Remember you will be riding on the water in an open boat. In the early springtime here in North Carolina, the air temp can be as low a 50 degrees. Fishing from June till September our temperatures are hot, try to wear clothing that dries quickly, I wear long-sleeve shirts and pants to protect myself from the sun. A hat is a must to protect the head and eyes, sunglasses and sunscreen are important. My recommendation for sunscreen is  CVS Health 50 clear Zinc lotion a broad spectrum SPF 50. This lotion comes in a 2 ounce round container, water-resistant for 80 minutes, goes on clear, and is non-greasy. From my experience, this lotion is the best I have used, with no odor I apply this early in the morning seldom do I have to reapply.

You will need to bring any drinks, water, snacks, sandwiches you want during the charter, no food is provided. Two Yeti coolers are on the boat one for fish the other, for drinks, and sandwiches. Do not bring a cooler on the boat, it is not needed, do have a cooler for your catch, leave it in the car. When booking your charter it is important to let me know where you will be staying, if staying in Carolina Beach we will leave from 220 Annie Drive N.C. Wildlife boating access. I run quite a few inshore charters out of Bald Head Marina the pick-up location is the fuel dock in front of the Dockmaster Building. Staying in Oak Island or Southport the pick-up location is 4950 Fish Factory Road SE.this the Oak Island Boating Access.

What does it cost inshore fishing? A lot, there are more expenses than I want to list in this post, boat, motors, rods, and reels anything to do with fishing is high and continues to climb in cost. I have been in this business for a long time, because of my love of the water and coastal living, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the area with my charter guest. You will not find me giving fishing seminars, or doing a lot of outside advertising. I have seen charter Captains come and go over the years, mainly because it is hard work to run a successful charter business, profits are not what you think. Word of mouth in this industry is gold, I live right here in Carolina Beach, N.C. one of the small coastal fishing towns in North Carolina.

This post was made to help answer questions that I get almost every time a reply to a charter request.
