Carolina Beach State Park located inside the city limits of Carolina Beach has a lot to offer residents and visitors it is coastal nature at its finest. Hiking trails include Sugarloaf,3.0 miles, Campground Trail 1.0 miles, Swamp trail .75 miles, Snow’s Cut Trail .45 miles, Fly Trap Trail .50 miles Oak Toe Trail .25 miles, these are easy trails to walk if you walk quietly you are very likely to see deer, squirrels.

Camping is available by reservation, call 1-877-722-6772 or online by visiting www.ncparks.gov camping fees are $20.00 per night. All park users are subject to North Carolina State Laws and Park Regulations, Park Rangers are there to be helpful, and for enforcement of North Carolina State Park regulations.

A marina with two launching ramps and more than 40 boats slips are available for public use, with plenty of parking available, the cost of launching a boat is $5.00.Gas and diesel are for sale on-site, along with ice, and beverages at the marina.

I visit the Carolina Beach State Park several days a week, it is a great place to walk and enjoy nature I usually see deer on most of my walks.

Carolina Beach State Park is operating under Phase 3 modified guidelines. Trails, restrooms, the boat ramp, picnic area, and all marina facilities are open. The visitor center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A properly worn mask or face covering, covering both the nose and the mouth, is required to enter. Campsites are open for reservation, including group campsites. As previously noted, one loop of the campground is closed for construction, while the other remains open. Please be prepared for construction noises and traffic changes. Camper cabins are open and available for reservation. Cabins may be closed and unavailable during the week for cleaning.
