Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

Flounders have been biting in backwaters just off the Cape Fear River,live menhaden on carolina rigs seem to be the best bait.Inshore fishing is a great way to introduce your children to fishing,calm waters & light tackle make it enjoyable experience.

Red drum bite has started here in the Cape Fear Region of North Carolina,fished yesterday just off Still Creek landed two slot size red drum. Flounder bite also seems to be improving we hooked a large flounder yesterday morning just was not able to net the fish.

Bald Head Island is hosting Americana weekend,plenty of activities going on at the Harbourside Pavilion.music will start at 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm tickets are $10.00.
