Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

North Carolina tides have been extremely high in the creeks off the Cape Fear River the last few days,changing tactics a little has kept the fish coming in the boat for the Cape Fear Guide !

Flounder were also in the shallows !

North Carolina inshore fishing here in the Cape Fear Region had a touch of fall in the air yesterday,along with some hard fighting red drum.Tides were extremely high yesterday,which caused the waters to rise over the banks in the back bay areas,changing the normal way I fished yesterday, paid off with several over the slot red drum,with a couple in the 24′ to 26″ slot size.
