Carolina Beach Fishing

Upper Slot Red DrumBrothers catching Red Drum
Carolina Beach fishing with Capt.Mike Dennis is a great way to experience some light tackle inshore fishing action. The tides the last two mornings have dictated that we get a early six in the morning start, allowing us to spend as much time possible fishing Bay Creek behind Bald Head Island, before the tide falls to shallow, to leave out.Bite has been around 7:15 am and is only lasting about 30 minutes, but the red drum action has been exciting catching reds in the upper slot size of 26″ to 27″ fish with some 21″ to 24″ fish mixed in.
Flounders are still being caught around the small creek mouths with live bait on carolina rigs.
Give Capt.Mike a call at 910-619-0928 to set up your inshore charter on your next visit to Carolina Beach,N.C.
