Fall Fishing
Carolina Beach, a great place to live, for with the arrival of cooler fall temperatures, spurs the annual migrations and schooling of bait, finger mullets, this is what draws the king mackerel, close to our beaches, along with large flounders, that are being caught on our inshore artificial reefs.
I fished yesterday under Carolina blue skies, virtually no wind, just a perfect day to be out on the water, found a few large flounders biting, along with the grey trout.
This is the time of year you can just see the ocean, come alive with fish, from Spanish mackerel attacking mullet minnows on the surface,to king mackerel sky rocketing out of the water, now is the time to go fishing, and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Give the Cape Fear Guide a call at 910-619-0928 to set up your fall fishing charter, have a great day,Capt.Mike Dennis.
