Catching Spanish Mackerel Tip !

Spanish MackerelThe Fisherman
Clean water is better most days for the Spanish Mackerel bite,than a dirty colored water.
It is really turning out to be a good year for the Cape Fear  Guide,lot’s of fish are coming over the gunnels of this Pathfinder Bay Boat.
Black Drum are increasing in size & numbers Danny Redman caught several good size drum fishing with the Cape Fear Guide this week.
 Spanish Mackerel bite has been consistant all week,just about every day,you can catch a good limt of these tasty fish.

Spanish Mackerel at CB Inlet

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009


Spanish mackerel bite is stll going on at Carolina Beach Inlet,fished this morning for about 1 1/2 hours had a nice catch of spanish mackerel,weather was really nice just a slight breeze to keep you cool,lots of menhaden around the inlet  right now !
Snow’s Cut is still prooducing some large flounders,made a stop this morning for about 45 minutes,Ronald Brooks landed a large flounder while fishing with the Cape Fear Guide.
