Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

I fished on July 30,2008, behind Bald Head Island found the Red Drum biting,along with a few speckle trout,the summer time heat is upon us,but proper clothing and sun screen does help along with drinking plenty of water.Red Drum fishing is one of the most exciting inshore fish you will ever catch,don’t miss out on the bite ! 

Flounder,Speckle Trout, Red Drum have been biting for the last 3 weeks,in the creeks just off the
Cape Fear River,today was no different I ended this week off with a Cape Fear Guide Grand Slam ! Live bait fishing for me has really paid off,Gary Ward caught a 26” speckle trout this afternoon own live bait,this was a really large speckle trout I estimated the fish to 5 1/2 to 6 lb.
