Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

Flounder fishing is beginning to heat up at the artifical reefs off of Southport,N.C. AR- 420 Tom McGlammmery Reef and the AR-425 Yaupon Beach Reef are both producing flounders. Small peanut menhaden on a Carolina rig seem  to be the best combination for successful trip. Flounders are also being caught along the inter-coastal waterway system in the Southport area fish the bulk heads,and around the bridges for the most consistent action.
