Southport Fishing Charters

Today is Sunday, June 22nd school is out now for most families in eastern North Carolina so when you plan your summer vacation give the Cape Fear Guide a call to set up all your Southport Fishing Charters, whether offshore or inshore Capt. Mike Dennis can accomadate all your fishing charter needs. Right now we are catching spanish mackerel right on the inshore beaches of Oak Island this is a fine charter for exposing your children to saltwater fishing. I am doing some  live bait fishing with menhaden catching king mackerel and sharks on Yaupon Artificial Reef,we caught a Hammer Head Shark this past week. For children and adults if you have never been Saltwater fishng seeing Capt.Mike throw the large cast net on the schools of menhaden off Oak Island is exciting to see just how many bait fish are in the Southport waters.Offshore fishing is run on a 34′ Baha Catamaran twin diesel with A/C for a nice comfortable ride out, this boat is fast, and has excellant wrap around seating, for the family. Snapper, grouper, and king mackerel are all available in the Frying Pan Tower area. Come visit the Cape Fear Guide – Capt.Mike Dennis
