Cape Fear Guide fishing in April has started with descent catch of Virginia Mullet caught right off Bald Head Creek, bite was not steady, catching 2 to 4 fish about every 20 minutes.Weather was not bad just a little cool headed south to Bald Head Island that morning.Expecting the next 3 days to be windy and cool several cool fronts to pass the North Carolina coast through Saturday.
Cleaned a few this morning for dinner tonight !

Late August inshore fishing in the backwaters of the Cape Fear Region seem to be showing signs that fall fishing is fast approaching.Bait activity is increasing, large schools of bait showering on the surface, along with cooler air temperatures equals large red drum.
Flounder bite has been off and on a young angler caught a hard fighting fish this past week,it was all we could do to land this fish.
