Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

We have a high pressure back controlling the weather now the strong southwest wind blowing 15 to 30 mph. is over, the last two days we have a had calm seas.making for comfortable fishing conditions.The spanish mackerel bite is beginning to get back to normal had a descent catch of fish today on my  Wrightsville Beach charter. I am open to fish July 4th & 5th. just give me a call at 910-619-0928.

I saw Spanish Mackerel jumping out of the water, so I  anchored up in between Bald Head Island and Oak Island  yesterday afternoon found the Spanish Mackerel biting  gotcha plugs steady for about an hour.These fish make for exciting action on light spinning rods, giving the angler several good fast runs, before coming to the boat. Another fun afternoon of fishing with the Cape Fear Guide - Capt.Mike Dennis
